Rooster is a specialist in super yacht crew recruitment. This innovative, young company broke the industry mould and set about to redesign recruitment centred on video CVs. The video format conveys a genuine read on candidates personality and fit for specific boats.
Rooster engaged with the Recreational team in a design exercise, working collaboratively to build out their unique brand identity and business model. The result was a rich 'bento box' of video and animation, channeling crew and captains to actionable tasks.
A simple navigation design keeps captains and crew focused on the task.
A core notion of the brand was that Rooster helped navigate the recruitment process in a highly bespoke world of luxury super yachts. No cookie cutting process could meet the highly personal placement requirements for both captains and crew. Recreational conceived a design language that reflected these diverse client needs, illustrating Rooster's responsive and personal approach to recruitment.
While the Rooster logo was already established, Recreational built out a set of new brand guidelines and assets that supported the clients' fresh and innovative approach to recruitment, designed to work across different media and mediums.
A distinct and quirky typographic design shifts Rooster away from the typical corporate look often associated with recruiters.
Recreational continued to build out the brand design language with a library of custom illustrated icons.
Instagram is a key brand marketing tool for Rooster. Recreational carried over the bold website design to a set of layouts managed directly by the client in Canva.
