Brand and Website
Behind every winning horse is great management and collaboration. That's how we describe Ardex Technology in their brand marketing.

Sydney-based Ardex Technology engaged Recreational in a project that spanned brand strategy, new product launches, and a visial identity refresh.

Having worked on many tech-based projects, it was no surprise the brief would be dynamic with many evolving pieces. The project solution was a 'pop-up' studio in Sydney to work closely with the client in this initial phase. This level of focus accelerated development of the strategy and deliverables.

Within record time the Sydney 'pop-up' conceived new brand identities for Ardex and its new products, a website creative plan, and two television commercials. And that was just for starters.
In the time that followed our initial Sydney phase of the project, Recreational set about building the first phase of a new online strategy with a website that reintroduced the Ardex Technology brand, as well as priming the market for the launch of its new workflow product EPONA.
The brand development of the new Ardex Technology identity was done in parallel with the new workflow product, EPONA. As illustrated below, the identities sync together in a design system that can support more products coming to market in the future.

The logo mark design denotes strong direction and solutions through collaboration and integration.
The EPONA logo design follows the same design system developed for Ardex Technology, while sitting apart with its own primary colour and logo mark.

The logo mark is a reference to stables and fences, a  metaphor for an interconnected,  controlled and managed environment.
A unique typographic design gives the Ardex brand family a distinct identity.
Recreational developed brand guidelines for the client, setting boundaries that preserve the distinct identity while providing a solid design system for future creative marketing to build on.
As with the brand guidelines, the website has a framework that supports the evolution of product development at Ardex Technologies. In this instance the Webflow-based site benefits from a CRM that the client can easily manage, with the option to engage Recreational on creative direction or content.
Components designed for reuse and repurposing will speed up future design and development, making the website responsive to market forces and new opportunities.
